Just for fun...

If you had a clone, identical to you in every way, physically and psychologically,
would the two of you get along, or would you drive each other insane?

...No, I don't have a twin brother (or a clone, either).
This is two images of me digitally stitched together with the camera's panorama software.
Well i usually can get along with people who has thing in common with me
Yes, so I could play piano duets whenever I wanted. Instead, I have to ask people, which is difficult.
I think my clone would be my own best friend.  I'd finally have someone who understands me 100%.  Someone with whom I could enjoy all the unusual outdoor activities I love.  Plus we could get twice as much work done, or twice as much time wasted, depending on how we feel.  When I was a kid, I sometimes fantasized about everyone in whole world being a copy of me.  That would have certainly made social interaction much easier.

How about you ask me to play the duets, as I have every Asperger gift you could imagine, including musical talent.

Tonic, I love the picture of you with your "clone"!

I dislike the way I look and sound on videotape, always unpleasantly surprised to realize how odd I look and especially how grating my voice can be, so I think having a clone around would be like watching myself on videotape all day long.

Glad you love the picture.

I used to be very uncomfortable with my appearance.  On the rare occasion I saw myself in video, I would think, "Is that me?  I can't believe I'm that pathetic!"  But since the "discovery" of my aspiness, my level of self confidence has been growing.  This new camera has certainly helped.  I have taken lots of photos and video of myself.  The only thing I don't like is that my voice seems to be a little higher pitched than I thought it was.

Anybody see the first season Red Dwarf episode Me2 (Me squared), when Lister tries to make a hologram of Christine Kochanski but Rimmer tricked him and put his CD in there instead?
If I had a clone? I would kill it and take it's organs >D

Either that or my boyfriend would probably be up for threesomes >3

Clones however make me think of House of The Scorpion, By Nancy Farmer

yup,the Rimmer on the disc turns out to be more of a smeghead then the one already in existence.
you also just reminded me of Queeb XD

That is a wierd thought... Certainly I'd like to talk to myself about all the things I like to talk about but no one likes to hear. I'd also get to answer a bunch of questions I always have floating around in my head... like how good my eye contact is. Sometimes its dead on and sometimes its way off. In the end though, I think having to see myself all the time would really bother me... like others said about the video thing. I keep wanting to do video blogs or something... but I would hate that for the same reason. Smile
Actually, the other day I was wondering what it would be lke to have a twin who understood me 500%, and I think I'd love one- we'd get on really well!

Unless we were siamese twins- then we'd drive each other and ourselves completely crazy because we'd both be dying for our own space!
Tonic, that pic is awesome - what did you use to do that?

AFTQ, no, I am, and ahould always be, totally unique!!

That picture is actually two digital photos stitched together using the panorama program in the camera's software.  I took about 25 pictures of each half, trying lots of different poses of disgruntled me on the left (trying to read the book) and eccentric me on the right (raving about the movie).  These two seemed to be the best combination.  It was important to have lots of stuff on the table so the panorama program would be able to recognize how the two photos fit together.

I don't know how comfortable a relationship with a clone would be.

Would I suddenly find my clone scary, and probably avoid him?

... or would we just go right ahead trying out something like gay sex, just for fun?

okay.... well whatever floats your boat mate! Big Grin

it would be very handy if someone is trying to beat you up

Imagine He'd have you cornered and then a clone of you would emerge he'd be confused then another appears and before he realises theres like 12 of you and you all attack him!

there is of course a second option to what you could do with clones...

MAKE A IMMENSE ARMY OF CLONES OF YOU AND TAKE OVER THE WORLD!!! MHUHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!
Tongue

My clone and I would hang out together, bounce ideas off each other, and together, we'd write an awesome book. Plus, we'd have a blast playing video games together. Smile
