When I toured Midwestern State University, the college I will be attending, back in May, I applied for a scholarship from the geology department. I got an e-mail today (I am back on after finally a week), and it said that I got the scholarship!
I am so excited!!!

Congratulations. I really suspect my geology teacher was autistic.
Congratulations, Tim!
And... when I was in college I had a friend, Andy, who was a geology major... he was Aspie before the diagnosis was available.
Yeah! Congratz!
My geology teacher was most definitely NT. He thought I was one of the dumbest kids in his class after I completely failed the in-person mineral test. But this test required matching up real rocks with descriptions (guess if I can't recognize faces, maybe I can't adequately recognize rocks either). But I totally aced his written exam. Interestly, geology is one of the few subjects I actually remember something about.
Congratulations,
Oh the feel of rock and sand. And the smell. I'm almost jealous.
Enjoy
