Most of us auties here have been treated with extreme prejudice. Some of us have even gone through some traumatising, emotionally scarring incident involving prejudice towards autistics.

However, I don't think that we should act that way towards NTs.
I have seen comments from many autistic people, rather vile comments, that ridicule and hurt NT's.

Recently, someone sent me a message hoping that I would agree with them. They had written to me about how NT's are all conformists. It offended my sister and I.

I have pride in my Autsm but that doesn't mean I have to be a jerk about it.

Now I doubt that a lot of people here think in that way. I'm sure many of you agree with me.

I just worry that there are some individuals who forget that neurodiversity doesn't just belong to autism and that NT's, infact, everybody should feel included as well.

Lets try to be a little nicer to each other, shall we?
Actually, Kurai-Gaka, this is something I've written about before and something I've been meaning to write about again, and I applaud you for writing about it as well.
It's understandable for people to feel angry towards specific people who have hurt them.  They shouldn't generalize it to a whole group of people.
And sometimes, we do need to rant a bit.  That's what the rant thread is for.  When one rants there, we all understand that they were venting and didn't necesarily mean anything they said.  But don't use "I'm venting" as an excuse for insulting NTs whenever you please.

Finnally- and this one has been really bothering me- "Neurodiverse" doesn't mean Autistic!  It doesn't even mean "not NT!"  Neurodiversity refers to ALL diversity of brain functioning, ALL neurotypes.  If you have to use a word that means "Not NT", use Neurodivergent.  And if you're talking about autism, just say autism.  But please don't use language that excludes Nts from our movement of acceptance- Acceptance for EVERYONE.  Like Kurai-Gaka says, Neurodiversity doesn't belong just to autistics.
What I first learnt at wikipedia about neurodiversity seem to match up with what you're saying Lashire, it made me abit confused when ppl used it differently. But here I see that wiki is once again correct!

Thanks!
I'm not for hostility to NTs, but I think there's some understandable frustration at living in this mainstream-majority-NT society.  To generalize about all NTs is not right.  But so many of us have had bad experiences with mainstream NT society, it's hard not to project into a generalized frustration.
