From Yr7 to Yr9, I have been really interested in Science, in Yr10 for some reason that interest has faded and I dont know why? I don't know if its because of:
a) Teachers are crap
b) Peer Pressure
c) AQA
d) The Science they teach is you is repetitive.
I'm thinking c and d but Im not particularly sure. Did this happen to you?
I have had a lot of different interest's in my life and sometimes one interest is losing importance for me and i discover another new, maybe is just a normal thing on AS change of interests

Yeah, I'm like that too. I'll be fanatically interested in a something for a while, then loose interest--becoming distracted into another area of study. But I do find myself being drawn back into the same areas time and time again.
The older I got, the longer my interests (and jobs) lasted. For decades it was around 2 years an intense interest would last.
Of my 3 current interests, one has fizzled out after 10 years (sadly), another has had 6 years and is still going but not as strong, the last has been a year and is still about the same.
Like the others have said, it's pretty normal to lose interest in things. It happens to me frequently. Have you found another subject that you've become interested in?
I'm quite the opposite actually, I was never really interested in science, but now at the end of year nine I've started taking a big interest.
Why would AQA make you lose interest in science? we've just started using the textbooks, aren't they very good?
I've become more into math and music lately. Ironically, I used to fail both; I like to study what I know least about, as that's where the new insight lays.
I lost interest in science when it became too abstract - as it did in chemistry. I still like learning about how the world/universe works but I didn't like memorizing the periodic table or doing experiments that measured the properties of chemicals in test tubes.
I sort of understand why it was important... but it lost me. Only class I ever got a D in - and mostly because I skipped it all the time.
