Some cool you tube stuff…

I think ‘women in art’ is morph-tastic Yetti; Jellyfish lake is also cool.

Sprach Zarathustra (Speiser Music Video) is brilliant Logical paradox; as is yugioh the abridged series episode 1.

And I like ‘I Like Turtles’ Ijads

Thanks for sharing everyone.
Yoik anyone?

The Yoik is a traditional form of singing practiced by the Saami. A Yoik tried to capture the essence of a person, place or thing. It is said that singer yoiks something--they don’t yoik about something.

Meet my wife's multi-talented friend.

She's a singing, song writing, artist, actress, playwright, comedian, impressionist...and a fair few other things. Cool

Not an aspie unfortunately.

She's a bit famous in some circles--but not exactly a household name.
But she can sing up a storm. Smile

It's not YouTube...it's MySpace; but it seemed appropriate for this thread.

Your wife's multi- talented friend has a great voice - very pleasing to listen to - I liked 'touch the sky".
Maybe the yoik music is an acquired taste - there is a tone there that is hard for me to listen to - the trumpets hurt my ears.

My wife's multi-talented friend is Claire Dallison (she uses her name professionally so I think its ok to give it out). She’s original from my home town of Nottingham, but now lives in California. She’s been singing and writing music for a very long time and can now give a very polished performance. My wife isn't overly keen of her new stuff and instead prefers the ballads she use to sing when she worked in theatre.

Yeah, I think the yoik is a bit of an acquired taste lol. Posted that more for socio-political reason--but I do still like how it sound.

Hello...my name's Quickduck and I have a problem...

I seem to have become a YouTube addict.

Does anyone know of any clinics that specialise in YouTube dependence? I may need to seek treatment.

quickduck, you have taken the first step to recovery is admitting your addiction.
I'll see you at the next YouTube anonymous meeting.

Until then, I don't suppose 'one more for the road' can do any harm?
