So, does anybody play this game? I've been considering about purchasing it, but I don't want to unless if I've heard good things about it. So, is it any good?
I purchased for part 2 and 3. The game is ok, though I do not play it anymore.

The good thing about the game is that the community appears to be more friendly than of other such online games.

And, one does not depend on forming groups with other players to master more difficult content, unlike WoW for example. If no group can be found (or if one simply wants to play alone, with one's own pace) one can simply fill up the group with those henchmen. I propose to start with the third part, because there, one has not only those 'anonymous' henchmen, but also 'heros'. They also gather experience points, can be outfitted in items and skills (aka spells / abilities). With that, one can quite 'program' the own group for certain tasks.

Another good thing about that game is that only in towns this is a massive multiplayer game; outside towns, one plays in instantiated levels, so there are no stupid 'r0xx0rz' nerfing around.

Also, a lot care is being taken by the programmers to make playing a joyful experience, like the stash system, communicating across servers / game versions, the instant travelling to towns, keeping track on quests, not paying an online fee, frequent updates etc.

So, if you like MMORPGs and have time to spare (as well as some money), go ahead  :O)
Oh okay, I'll check it out! Thanks.
