Tell me if you think this is good and if I should put this on Fictionpress.
There once lived a king in a far away land who loved horses. He would ride them, groom them, give them fancy halters, and even have them graze from his garden from time to time.
On the king's birthday, many people came to his party to give him horses as well as gifts for his horses. Then, a wood worker came to him and presented him with a special horse made of wood.
The king looked at the wooden horse questionably. He nor anyone else in the kingdom had ever seen a horse like this before.
"What does this horse do?"
"It rocks." the wood worker showed him, rocking the horse back and forth.
The guests were a bit intrigued, but the king was unsatisfied.
"What is the point of a horse that does nothing but rock? Its not even a real horse! There is no point to having this monotinous gift! Burn it!"
But before the guards could take the rocking horse to be thrown into the fire, the kings daughter, who was no more than 3, ran up to the wooden horse as if to save it.
"I like horsie!" she protested and got on the horse riding it as if were a real horse.
The king was surprised; the princess never cared for any other gift she was given as much as she did with this horse.
As he watched his daughter play with the rocking horse laughing and smiling, he thought to himself, "If this horse really brings joy to children such as mine, than perhaps this horse DOES have a place in my kingdom."
And thoughout that day, ever child in the kingdom had a rocking horse to play with, and the very rocking horse that started it all, held a special place next to the king's thrown as the princess' new playmate.
