Does anyone know of times and places we might organize to protest in the near future? I ask about the US because that's where I am, but it would be helpful for those not in the US to know about protests they'd be able to participate in.
Are the CAN walks and such done annually so that we might expect one upcoming, or are they done sporadically?

Whoops. I just looked at the Announcements thread, and there was a link to Autism Speaks, and a schedule of their walks/events.
I found one for Orange County on Saturday, the 25th of August 2007 (which works out really well for me since that's the weekend right AFTER my vacation, so anyone who is available, please make your best effort. I am going to still have to ask my parents, but they're not at all curebie and they support autistic rights; I just have to make sure that nothing get scheduled for that day so that it won't cause inconvenience to them. Hopefully they'll go for it, and maybe if there is difficulty I will remind them about how I missed anime convention this summer (I was so looking forward to it).
