this people really think they are helping their kids by hating that what make them especial and individual each one?, they don't think that the autistic disorder is a part of whom they are and not a disability?

of course sometimes is hard, but everything in the life is hard, on the other hand the spectrum brings me the opportunity of see the life on a different way and sometimes (very times) more clear than many Neurotypicals. the diversity give us a much rich society, for what they want that all the people think equal? isn't true that men who were ''diferent'' are the ones who contribute enormously to the society? how could be the world without ones who think in a different way, the ones who make the change

besides using the word HATE always have a negative connotation, it seems like they didn't thought right

He does not have the right to lie, to cast others as evil, to destroy any progress that can be made towards acceptance. He cares not for Aspies, but for "curing" us, eliminating all Autism, and for his hatred. He doesn't even want to "stop" the "cause" of Autism(that is, his ideas of the cause), but to simply complain about it, and insult any and every Aspie.

Callista: Yes, we all have the right to freedom of speech, but no, we do not have the right to use that to disseminate hatred against specific groups, to express bigoted views, to accuse perfect strangers of being homicidal lunatics, cultists, and sexual deviants. It is not right. It is not fair.

Lienda: I agree. The last thing I want is to have this degenerate into an out-and-out argument, with who's wrong and who's right.
This is why it's simple. I made a petition, for signatures, just simple signatures. I'm not talking about the other side's points with this or that, I'm talking about the bigotry, the hatred, the insults, and the sheer digusting qualities of that blog, and how it is in open violation of the Blogger Terms of Service. Simple.

rossco: I do have a bit of an agenda, I'll admit. I don't want to have to live with the fact that people find it acceptable to treat those with ASDs like vermin and monkeys, and I don't want to have to live in a world that condones such views. I think I'd like to rest easier, knowing that this kind of hatred is no longer open and acceptable.

All I want is the spreading of this petiton, signatures on this petition, and the success of the petition. You can attribute whatever values you wish to me, so long as you sign the petition to have the Terms of Service followed, and a blog devoted to hating autistics is removed from the internet.

Is a signature on a petiton really that time-consuming, that difficult to do?

I don't want an army or a cheer squad, or a gang or whatever, and I do not ask him to be "beaten up." All I ask is signatures, on a petition. Nothing more, nothing less.

Timelord: I agree. We have our rights, as human beings, and we deserve to assert them.

I don't recall having said that, but I do recall having said something about lies, stereotyping, and pursuing personal information of minors in order to have the individual committed and "treated."

He poses a threat to the safety and mental well-being of youth and children. He has sought personal info from individuals, one of which I've seen in a few places, Kurai-gaka, I believe, as well as from me, in order to find us, and to have us committed and "treated" until we're "normal."

I don't think this is right, or even justifiable, but I'm not going to spend time rationalizing it. It's a moot point, as far as the petition is concerned, and as far as the Blog is concerned. I'm going to get this back to the start, to what this is about.

Fore's Blog violates the Blogger Terms of Service, and must be removed for violation of said Terms of Service.

You can sign, you can pass, but please, don't chalk it down to being a lost cause. I have hope, and Phil has hope. At the risk of sounding cliched, as long as there is hope, we can come through.

Wilky: What about one who makes an effort with minors to get ahold of information needed to do so? He's been trying to get his hands on Kurai-gaka's info, I've heard, and there are others who visit, including anothe blogger, BigTime... I can't spell the rest...
The point being, I find it distressing that Phil would do that, but it pales in comparision to Fore, who actively seeks personal information, and is more than happy to have them taken away by people a lot less kind than Social Services.

Callista: Absolutely. I find no wisdom in holding onto a failed logic. You're making perfect sense. I whole-heartedly agree.

Timelord: Yes, I can see it, but no, others do not share our views. This is their right, and I think you should calm down. Just because they don't see eye-to-eye doesn't mean it's bad, it just means that we have differences. Yes, the man is a menace, vile, and full of hatred, but they don't want to get involved. We should respect their wishes, not treat them like they're blind.

rossco: My cause is for signatures. Phil's is too, but he goes about it in a... stronger fashion, I guess. I am glad that you respect my views, and I respect your views. I don't want to give anyone a hard time for not "supporting" the petition, but I do wish people would simply find that this bigotry is worth a few minutes of their time to help try to have it removed.

Open: I have a feeling Fore's not quite done with AFF yet, though...

I'm trying to spread the word, so far it's been here, and on another site's forums.

I think the Hub is the next step, and someone has requested that to happen on my blog. I'm not sure how to go about it though... Are there any Hub members in and around AFF who'd be interested in sharing this petition, out to their blogs and to others?

I'm unsure. Phil assumes that people know things, and though it's unfortunate, we don't.
I believe he may have been referring to one of a few people, I think maybe you or Droopy, or another female forumgoer.

I answer to no puppeteer, I speak my mind openly and with conviction and honesty.
Suffice to say, if there is an ignorance, it is not to be assumed that they're being belligerent.

As for you, Phil, this is absolute hypocrisy on your part.
You should be ashamed for pushing a "Get Over It" here, while cruelly and basely using it to attack and insult a lady's integrity.
You are as bad as Fore these days.
