Doesn't even have such a specific date either, really.
In December, people in the South get Christmas cards with snow on them, even though it is mid-Summer. So someone decided to have a Christmas party in Southern winter instead. It's caught on a bit. (A joke holiday, really)
lol It sounds like fun. I don't think we get anything at all in the summer, except from maybe a bank holiday.
Actually I'm quite suprised I haven't heard of it before.
