The following Autreat 2007 conference sessions will be open to remote participants over the Internet, via IRC (Internet relay chat).  IRC is a public-domain chat service, much like AOL Instant Message or MSN Messenger.  We will have a scribe at each of the following sessions, typing what is being said in the live session, and obtaining the floor to read comments and questions from Internet participants.

Tuesday 6/26, 2:00 pm US EDT (18:00 GMT) -
Discussion on the future of the pro-neurodiversity movement

Tuesday 6/26, 7:30 pm US EDT (23:30 GMT) -
Discussion on the use of Internet materials to support ally
outreach activities and autism-friendly parent/family support groups

Friday 6/29, 8:30 am US EDT (12:30 GMT) -
The annual "Ask an NT" panel

Check back http://users.rcn.com/philschwarz/aut07online.html to see if more sessions have been added; if we can get volunteer scribes for additional sessions, we may be able to put more sessions online.  (When you check back on the page, click refresh in your browser.)

To join us online (during one of the scheduled sessions), browse to

http://www.starlink-irc.org/index.webchat.html

Then click on one of the "CGI IRC Portal" links on that page.  Then enter a nickname for yourself, and #Autreat as the channel you want to join, and then click on the Login button.
I'll join in later, if at all.
Have to finish with a private issue.
What happened to the ACI-Homepage?
Got a "couldn't connect to server error"
It moved from AFF to ACI?
I'm starting to get "puzzeled", even if I don't like all the "puzzelers" too much.
I'm not part of a puzzle, and you can't puzzle me.Tongue
We are adding one more session -- today/tonight (Thursday 6/28) at 4:15 pm US
EDT (20:15 GMT) -- Scott Robertson from ASAN, the Autistic Self-Advocacy
Network (http://www.autisticadvocacy.org) will give a presentation titled
"Information Technology and the Autistic Culture: Influences, Empowerment, and
Progression of IT Usage in Advocacy Initiatives".

Slides for this presentation will be available here shortly before the session.
