Apparently scientists in the Uk have found how autism is caused though I think it is utter crap.

Simon Baron-Cohen {right surname?} supports the claims.

Basically there are two proteins {named something like neuro....} missing in the brain, its on the BBC website  but i cant find the link lol
mm, i don't think it's so simple, i think there are some parts of the brain that are relationed
I read a link to autism has been established to persons with a family tree going back to auschwitz  germany --i believe pre world war 2(wouldn't it have to be--there was a concentration camp there?) . my family fits into that category. but i would think that would only explain a small segment of the population diagnosed with it. the war would have changed that for one thing and it does not explain how it became so widespread.... unfortunately i don't remember the source and it was about a year ago that i read that.
I agree with Ayreon - I don't think it's so simple either. It may be a possible explanation, but where does it fit in with the whole puzzle? There has to be more to it than just simply missing proteins.
Why on earth is this in the "And the good news...." forum?
Ive read somewhere that they have too much protein...!
That may be a conspiracy theory.

I guess you mean NeuroZym's claims.

NeuroZym is actually one in a million of people who think they know ways to improve autistic people's life with diet and expensive enzyme tablets.
