Aspies For Freedom

Well, the name thread seems to be over so, I guess Prismatik it is. I find that our motive behind such a site should be to employ aspies/autistics who would otherwise have a hard time get jobs for social reasons as well as promoting autistic rights.

Being a special interest site would limit the number of viewers; thereby number of people we could employ, so I think should include Prismatik as a section of the site rather than the site itself. Prismatik would have the political stuff, view points, and opinions of people on the spectrum, the rest would contain the more general things like podcasts, animation, webcomics, music, and other things.

We should begin to decide specific things to put on the site (if we all agree to have Prismatik be a section, we would have find a name for the site itself, but for now that would only side track idea on content).

^Also the written creative work of spectrum folks (stories, poems, etc.)

Editorials (rotating writers) and opinion columns (regular writers)  - probably also a good idea.

When you speak of emplying people - do you mean paying folks for the design and maintenance of the site, or paying contributors as well?  If the latter, we might have to find some way of marketing the site for profit to come up with that cash.

I'm interested if it takes place. As a writer/music lover I'd be more than interested to assist or help out.
