So would a solar maximum, a gray goo outbreak, Apophis slamming into the earth, a sudden magnetic reversal, massive cyberterrorism attacks, or World War III starting.
In other words, I don't think it's worth worrying about.
He'd be just as idiotic spamming today, doing it on APD would just be a bit more annoying but not something that would "ruin everything". Don't feed the troll.
