I've always found that NT's tend to be "average" trustworthy, whereas Aspies tend towards one extreme or the other (i.e. very trustworthy or very untrustworthy).
I've never spotted much difference between men and women...

Yes, and yes. And I've never spotted any correlation between gender and trustworthiness.
I think a lot of the times the idea of one being more trustworthy than the other comes from extrapolation. For example, if a person has a negative experience with one or two women, they then extrapolate this as a theory about all women. Or vice versa.
I beg to differ.Maybe you have a way with women that I dont have. But in my experience-which is coroborated by prior posts by WOMEN Themselves; women are frequently more dishonest than men and thus less trustworthy. Another thing about (younger)women is that they are quite fickle due to hormonal reasons.

I trust Aspies over NTs for the reasons mentioned in prior posts. However, there are certain situations where I tend to trust men more than women. Specifically when it comes to interpersonal relationships. The reason being that women have a greater tendency than men to be dishonest and manipulative with people they are close to and/or involved with. Men are generally more direct and up front about their intentions.
Gender rules really only apply when it comes to people who 'fit in' in a cultural manner and even then, I've always found that it is very difficult to group people and make assumptions purely based on gender.

My response is based on MANY experiences with manipulative and dishonest women. I do realize that not all women are manipulative-Ive met some who most definitely dont behave that way but unfortunately a lot of 'em do. Perhaps beause of my AS such women view me as an easy target. As for dishonesty, nearly all of the Young women Ive ever met have been dishonest than the (young)men Ive known. There ARE apparently psychological reasons why women tend to be more dishonest; I think its cuz for some reason women are not as direct as men.
I usually have trouble trusting people, having been abandoned by so called "friends" but I usually trust males and Aspies, both tend to be more literal and play less mind games than NT women. Plus, a lot of the males I hang with have the same interests as me.
i dont trust one sex more then the other but i trust aspies/ autistics more regardless of their sex
