I thought this might be an interesting topic to start. I personally am against the cure, but wanted to state this as an idea. It is all hypothetical.
A cure has been come up with for all forms of autism. It is in the form of an injection or tablet that needs to be taken everyday until the brain is "rewired".
The catch is this. No one is forced to take it. There is no law that makes it so all autistics have to be cured. No law can be set in place, and the decision is entirely up to the autistic. Seeing as how most parents would take advantage of getting it done early, a law that sets in place the child deciding at age 16 or older arises. If the child cannot speak than they can write their answer after it is said to them, if they cannot do either, than nodding of the head is sufficient. The main problem is for those that cannot do anything.
If this sounds okay as a "cure" for autism, what would be your opinions on it.
