[Forward]- Activism appears to be slow lately (for the past few months). Our problems are still here obviously, so there must be another problem and it would seem to be staleness. Things repeat themselves; in different words perhaps, but it's the same story.

1.1 All of what happens in the autistic rights movement could be thought of as a game.

1.2 The game is sort of like living being; it grow, needs input, and dies if not feed.

1.3 The game is in a manner of speaking sick. It gets input, but can't get enough useful input.

1.4 The method of making input isn't working well enough, the information used to make input doesn't change much, so multiple new methods to feed the game.

Solution: Schools of thought. Different ways of looking at things. Something new to bring to the table.

What are good ideals for aspies?
Not what that is the ideal aspie, but strengths that are valuable for most aspies more than other groups.

Propoganda might have some negative connotations, but we should definitely be of more interest for other aspies.

Something that catch interest, an advert or whatever that raises more questions than answers and show an ideal strength as inspiration for aspies.
... AND autistic, and ideally also other PDD diagnosed people.

That's not what I said. I am simply said what we have isn't working.

More neurodiversity enthusiasts means more input.

Therefore we need to advertize the movement.

Forum members like me could make some images that could somehow spread through the web.

Checkout the "Advocating AV's" thread in the art section.
I had this idea for a slogan that could inspirate other aspies:

   Know your autism

   Know your self

... I might be mistaken in what way but in the wikipedia article it says that autism is the latin word for "self".

Knowing yourself, I'd call that an important strength for aspies.

I misunderstood. I thought you were saying the thread was propaganda. I guess there's no question my AS.

Perhaps in some ways we are having circular discussions in threads such as the eugenics topics. It seems to be a case of "the sky is falling, the sky is falling" but we are not able to formulate a strategy to deal with any possible threats from prenatal testing.
PROPOGANDA POSTERS!
They'd have to be good though. Groups such as CAN have got such a head start on us. I noticed a really good poster about Downs Syndrome in our local hospital recently.

It had pictures of Downs children doing various activities and also showed these children as attractive and friendly and said these children are just like any other.
