I can totally agree with Hrick and Rossco. I would gladly give up my meltdowns and hypersenstivity. But I will gladly keep my unique look on human culture :3
And Max, maybe they make NTs or at least naive NTs want to have even less to do with us, which makes life harder on us.
Very little about AS is inherently a problem (it is a complication to have to rely on a conscious mind to navigate socially when NTs can use instinct just as well or better).
The rest of it is to the extent to which the NTs let us interact as best we can in places like school, work, and relationships.
Just think of the "Minimal Brain Damage"
