How do you make those?

I make and pose the characters using a program called Poser.  I also use Bryce etc for the 3D stuff, and do post production work using the Coreldraw suite.  If you like that sort of thing you should check out the renderosity galleries.  :-)  I am a mere amateur in comparission with some of those guys.  They blow me away.
