Another random musing; I numbered this one so there won't be a wall of text. It's simple so it works well Wink.

1. With our reality-show\soap-opera culture the media favors extroversion.

2. Because of this, we live in a culture which views introversion as negative.

3. We are by definition introverts.

4. Because our culture look down on introversion they look at us as something to be cured.

1.1. There are introverted NTs.

1.2. They face the same problem of being looked down at because introversion.

Conclusion: Introversion movement could help our fight against curists as well as help introverts in general.
I love your name, Logical paradox. Paradoxes are the way we perceive reality with our limited human brains.

And I agree with you. The more vulnerable should become more assertive.

The way you think and number reminds me of Wittgenstein.
Thank you.

Assertion is part of the issue, but the larger problem that so few people realize what's happening.

It would be interesting if we were in a culture where introverts and extrovert would be on equal footing; that would be in everyone interest. From another perspective it would great to live in a world where people don't tell us to 'get a life' everyday.

Yes, that would be wonderful as introverts often do get treated shabbily. We need to promote all the good qualities of introverts such as the fact that they are usually discreet, less likely to gossip, are generally hard working "quiet achievers", and are good listeners.

Good points, all.

As to 'Get a life,' if I have the sense and somebody says it to me, I'll reply 'I already have one, and I'm not interested in buying a new one at this time.'  Something along those lines, depending on the person who's trying to start the trouble.  I don't tend to get into that kind of situation much, though.  Not out or in social interaction that much, I guess.  And fairly quiet when I am.
