SuperNanny just tackled autism on Nov. 4th on the show with the help of Dr. Lynn Koegal (her husband and her basically started PRT - Pivotal Response Training, a form of 'natural environment-based ABA'.

Every time I see that woman's image on the television, well, let's just say that I could sell tickets to see the sort of things I would do in response to her. When my novels hit the bestseller lists, if I slip up and have children, the first thing I will do is put an ad in Variety or similar publication telling her that she comes within a mile of my child at risk to her life.

PRT sounds like another evil catch phrase of the sort I have heard around here.

Well, admittedly, I have not looked that deeply into her ideas or work, but anyone who stands over a child and says "I'm right because I am the adult" really needs to have a word with my mother about some of the things that were done to me as a lad, and how they influence the me of now. I doubt they would ever use that position with a child again.
if you are worried that your kid would be autistic then concider not having any kids. Most autistic children are more loveable then (so called) normal children. My son gives me a thousand hugs and kisses a day. I love him  just as much as my other 2 children. so, if your worried that if your kid won't be perfict then don't have any.
