I've started making designs again, after a couple months.
I haven't found a good way to shade this one, so for now it's unshaded blue (I use blue as a default color).
A variant of the last one; I was experimenting with adding strings.
All my favorite colors.
I'll have more later; making these is a hit or miss sort of thing. If anyone has an idea for a challenging pattern, I'd love to try to work on it.
This is how I do them:
1. Start out with a fibonacci sequence (1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, and sometimes 13).
2. Think of some creative way to arrange it, use copy/paste so you do only 1/4 of it.
3. Add on more fibonacci sequences to the base one, shade it if you want to (that's the most monotonous part).
I learned how to do these myself; evolving after several years. The earliest works where lost to the blue screen of death, they where textile-like diamonds.
I like the first a lot; it reminds me of Inca architecture. The second is one of my lesser designs, but still not bad.
Beautiful--Very impressive work!
One I did a couple of years ago (I have done about 250 such pictures in the past 20 years, most of them in the last 2).

Here's one I did when I was 18.

What's that? Btw, the reason there is a big orange-yellow smear on the road is it's supposed to represent a car's headlights but you just can't see the car as the picture wasn't big enough to fit it in.
Here's one I did when I was 18.

A really wonderful picture--very atmospheric, sensual.
Thank you so kindly. It was meant to a view of the street across the road from the corner of he street where I grew up.
Aha, I see. Btw, did you used to have an avatar that was like a big tower with green windows. The tower was shaped a bit like a dalek. Pretty impressive it was.
Reminds me a bit of quilting designs. Really neat. Mom
