i have been saying id do this for a while, and big suprise, i started it.

http://autismtruth.deviantart.com/

as a dry run, this is going to be put on DeviantArt (and maybe some other art websites)

if it goes well, or i feel the need, i will use my aspie coder friend to give it a website, and maybe even self-publish the comic.

as most of you know, one of my special intrests is autism, i obsessivley gather information, and being about as perfectly average for an autistic as you cna get helps for perosnal insite, not to mention my real-life spectrum freinds, and my entire emidate familly being on the spectrum.

i dont have a degree, so some people will never even glance at my doccuments, and im a little concerned that this will make me a target for curbies.. you know how scarey they can be. but i am so outraged that there is no serious information scource on the web that is both accurate and detailed, so i have to make one.

tehre will be a doccument on every single aspect of everything i can think of, and will continue to grow as i continue to study.
for every doccument, there will be a comic expressing what it says, for people like me, who are bad at reading but good with images.

the main character is Ami, an average autsitic girl, her leading male is aspie named Clyde, and the ever-wonderful Skee who is nonverbal.

my hope is taht this is will make leanring about autism enjoyable and encouraging, and help smack the fabricated media around a little.

It's a very good idea. I'd suggest that you get a proofreader though, because, frankly, your spelling and grammar aren't very good. When one really reads your writing, it's obvious that you're intelligent and knowledgeable, but someone just glancing through something you'd written might only see the numerous misspellings and dismiss it as having been written by someone who does not know what she's talking about. People will take you much more seriously if your spelling, grammar, and punctuation are up to scratch. Smile No offense, everyone's bad at something or another. Getting an acquaintance who's really anal-retentive about that kind of thing to look over the written documents and correct mistakes will help increase their credibility in the eyes of laypeople.

It's not too bad...but you did misspell the word "psychological", and "modernly" isn't a real word. Maybe you could say "in modern times" or "recently".

Your art is awesome, though. That character is so cute!

Keep up the good work.  Post on here and let us know how it progresses!
