specs to come
I'll see if I can get some photos at a later date but anyway, my computer is custom built with an Intel Quad Core Q8200 2.33Ghz CPU, Titan 850W PSU, ASUS P5N-D motherboard, 4GB of DDR2 RAM, 500GB Seagate Sata HDD, Thermaltake V9 Case, Vista Home Premium 32bit, a 22x dvd burner and an XFX GTX 260 Black Edition Graphics card. I also have an ASUS PG221 Monitor hooked up which I bought last year and this computer which I bought in January is a big upgrade from my old one which was a Pentium 4 Processor 1.6Ghz, 512mb SD-RAM, 40GB Master Western Digital hard drive and a 250GB Slave from Western Digital as well, an ASUS P4B-MX motherboard, 2 dvd burners and a Winfast GeForce FX5200 graphics card. When I got my new computer, I took out the RAM, HDDs, Video card and dvd drives and gave the remains to my mate; two weeks after I gave it to him the CPU burnt out.
I stopped spending big bucks on PCs a long time ago ... whatever's fashionable and fast today will be marked less than half price and in the bargain bucket within the year. My usual concern's whether it's fast enough to run two or three apps at the same time without the blue screen of death.
Prepare to be amazed

Try to beat that

i have a dvd/cd rom(ide), 160gb ide (hda0 - boot drive), 500gb sata(sta0).
im gonna be adding a dvd burner as an upgrade/replacement to replace the stock cd burmer.
what i am using is a hand-me-down dell given to me by a friend at church. said it had a dead 250wt PSU(which it did). so i took it out and replaced it with a 450wt. the 500gb and 160gb were scavanged out of my dead powermac g4

along with 512mb of pc2700 ddr sdram(as an upgrade for the stock 512mb - 512+512=1gb

)
im gonna be using it while a build a quad-core amd box from the base up.
my NICE box is going to be able to burn on blue-ray. im gonna rig this little *** so it will hold me well into the future

.
i want to be able to use my NICE quad core for doing video/movie/audio/photo editing, and i would like to make sure i have more than enough horsepower to do it with.
This is very detailed because I can view my order online, so I just copy-pasted and made some edits...
