But Max! Computers are sooooooo sexy!

When my husband and I were talking to each other online before meeting irl, I actually enjoyed watching his screenshots more than looking at pics of him... I guess I'm weird, huh?

Sadly, my only computer overheated and caught on fire, so I'm afraid the specs don't matter much. On the bright side, it looks like it only needs one cable replaced. But because it's an iBook that's not exactly easy. I'd been wanting a new computer for a while though, so... except that we don't have money. W/e.

I'm currently using the Lifebook I bought for my husband 2 years ago... it's like a 7.9" laptop... and then we've got a few computers and 10 or so monitors that we'll hook up again after we get our wiring done.

ten...ten monitors? :O
i have two on my main one,a 22inch widescreen and a 19inch CRT.i did have a third one,a 17inch flat on it,but that died....but TEN?

ah.heh,if i am doing something graphical,or where i will be referring back and forth,i'll either bring down some extra monitors from my Beowulf cluster upstairs,or i'll use the TV Tongue

you got any idea what ailed me with my 8800GTS?
I still have it, its sitting in its ASD bag, my 3870 hasnt arrived yet.

it was factory overclocked. I'm going to send it back, get it replaced if I can. I hear that it will be replaced with an 8800GT 512, that true?
oh, FYI; that problem I was having with my card?

it carried over to my new 3870.

so I changed out the first two sticks of RAM, just as a test, with some faster Corsair stuff. success! no crashes...yet.
