Aspies For Freedom

Alright, we all know that NT's are big on symbolism. Now, dumb as CAN may be, it did one thing right for itself. With a name like CAN, what unsuspecting NT will not by drawn to believe in it. This may sound dumb, but...

I think we need to form a sub-group specifically to promote the idea of not curing autism. And I think a name that actually spells something out would be affected.

Aspies For Freedom is a great name, but we might want something that apeals to NT's

At autistics.org they say "The real voice of autism", something like that maybe.

I think the name Aspies for Freedom appeal to aspies especially, maybe not as much for autists. There could be a slogan that make NTs more interested.

How about Aspies for Autistics.  Everyone keeps saying "well, you only have Asperger's.  why would you care about people with LFA?"

I don't tihnk we should change our name......save the appeal-to-NTs thing for the curebies and bubbleheads....

Which is probably why I have almost no creativity regarding RP group and place names....LOLz. Yet somehow I come up with decentish char names like Dookia and Manthy.....

I stopped to read here the first time because of the name "Aspies for Freedom". I like that name. And I have no interest at all in Autism other than Aspergers.

Right, after I spend a long hard day pissing off the curbies in the Myspace groups, I like to come in here and unwind, we don't need curbies to be attracted to this site any more than we need NTs asking dumb questions like "wouldn't you rather be normal?".
