When my DS was qualified
to wear the label ASD
my family was mortified.
I oft repeated "OH, but he...

is pro-fic-i-ent
at many things."

OTs, PTs and CMOs
pointed out with pointed glee--
"He can not blow out through his nose
or mouth, and even you should see...

how lit-er-all-y
he views the world."

So they refined the largest bits
and slapped on paste ASAP...
the finished label squarely fits
on my dear son, his dad and me...

Our con-clu-si-on
was to frame it.

The important question is, if I print it out, and make a paper airplane, would it fly?
I dont know if it was meant to be sad, but it made me feel sad.
Yes, a lot of sad things can happen when labels are taken seriously, but the last line made me smile.  It gave me a happy little mental picture of tearing pages out of the DSM and filling the air with paper airplanes.   Smile
Edited...twas boring, you won't miss anything Smile

Cheers,

STea
