Also, it is annoying that a fair few shops don't stock anything above a size 14 (not sure what size that is in the US - probably size 8?). Just because some of us are a little more amply proportioned does not mean we want to have very few items to choose from.
I'm an awkward size too - I'm 30/32" waist and some jeans I have are 34" waist and fit perfect. I have some 28" jeans and they're snug too.
I think the manufacturers and the fashion industry needs to sort out this malarkey!!
