I have a question. Is it wrong to really enjoy watching violent movies, especially those with semi-comedic/cartoonish violence? I'd never do anything violent in real life, but sometimes I find it cathartic to watch violent movies. Especially anything from the 70's with Pam Grier in it (Sheba Baby, Coffy, Foxy Brown, etc). I can't watch anything with realistic looking blood or guts though. Is there something inherently wrong with enjoying media violence? It just occured to me that this might be "not normal".
Do you belive that watching violence in TV or movies will make a person violent? My instinct says no, but I could be wrong.
