I got a self-righteous person with Asperger's who does not want a cure for autism. I never mentioned that I am against the cure. I only said that I did not like CAN because they do not actually do anything for people with autism or their families just fund research. I said I was against CAN because I am pro-life and not pro-abortion.
1. You never said that you do not think that children with autism do not need help.
2. You do not ignore autistic children.
this person seems a bit too emotional to be aspie.
They mention the bullying (teasing for stuttering and wedgies) but they are bullying you in their message.
Sad when people are so ignorant of how some children with autism are being treated.
Just to let you know, I deleted the pic I had on my site (I realized it was too offensive & contraversial), but I told the person that it doesn't change how I feel about how autism should be dealt with.
That's a shame, as the picture no doubt had an important message and she had no right to be so rude about it. From the way she wrote, I seriously doubt that she is an Aspie. I wonder if she has an official diagnosis?

After getting back internet access after around a year this week,read through the public messages bit on am deviant art page and found this posted twice:

aspergers is not a tragedy. and in fact we are not ignored. we are supervised, bullied and discriminated.

Well, you've never been rude to me on the forum and yet some of those other people were very rude and made uncalled for comments.

Well, they definitely took a backward step when they made Lau-sy and SinsBadly moderators. Most of the good moderators have left the place.
I saw some videos of Alex out of curiosity. He was kind of cute as a kid. He's got a very strong American accent and his voice is now reasonably deep. He makes a lot of videos and it's taken me about three years or so to even look at any.

I think the fact that Korrigan's post was necrobumped from five weeks ago is interesting. Also, of course, that Korrigan has been very helpful to Johanna and they are friends. It's hard to see it as a pressing issue.

You cannot have a healthy forum, if people are scared to post, in case they offend, or cross wires with an admin, who they fear (if this fear is justified or not; I'm not picking a side yet, merely providing...feedback..) may ban them later.

Yeah, I got banned from Wrongplanet just because I contradicted a moderator or two. The previous moderators were fine even when I got feisty but the current lot banned heaps of people if they even said the tiniest comment that didn't agree with their world view. There was definitely favouritism and it would be terrible to see the same kind of thing happen here.
Yes indeed. I might add that Lucie should have been banned months before she actually was.
I had thought that Lucie's shenanigans were at the bottom of much of the malaise we'd been suffering last year and this year but now it seems to me it was more a symptom than a cause.
