Brillant Game. survival Horror...it actually says on the back of the box "DO NOT PLAY THIS GAME ALONE!" ...heh guess NTs get scared easy...here are some details from wikipedia:
Fatal Frame 2 is the second game in the series. In this title, twin sisters Mio Amakura and Mayu Amakura are visiting a childhood play spot when Mayu, who walks with a perpetual limp after a childhood accident, follows a mysterious crimson butterfly deep into the woods. Mio, concerned for her twin, follows Mayu, and the two girls are led to a lost village. While curiously empty, the village appears to have been cursed by some past event. The curse appears to be related to a failed ritual of human sacrifice involving twins, where one twin sacrifices another.
As the Amakura twins investigate, they discover the Camera Obscura and are set upon by ghosts. Separated from her sister, Mio becomes determined to save Mayu and escape before they meet the same cursed fate as the village's former residents. Unfortunately, Mayu, the more spiritually aware of the twins, becomes possessed by the vengeful spirit of the last murdered shrine maiden, Sae, who tried and failed to escape with her twin sister and now seeks to complete the horrifying ritual through Mayu and Mio. The player plays as Mio, seeking to unravel the mystery of the cursed village and the ritual.
The game's aesthetic presentation was highly praised by both critics and fans alike. As the name would suggest, the dominant color for the game was a brilliant red, creating a very bold and striking contrast in comparison to much of the game's shadowed and nocturnal settings. The title was ranked #3 in X-Play's "Top Ten Scariest Games of All Time".
it makes me think of an evil version of the N64 game Pokemon snap. >_<"
That sounds really good, the only survival horror I have played before is the Resident Evil series. I have played Silent Hill, but it never seemed as good. This sounds like a cool game, I'll have to try it out!
Thanks!

no prob. i just checked it's ranked number 3 on the game spot scariest list...but it was very hard to find..(but maybe thats just because Australia is way behind Japan, US & UK for games...>_<
What console is it for?
Because I don't have an X-box.
I didn't know that Australia was that far behind the UK. I though that you got them around the same time as us. That must be really really bad, because we have it bad here. I think the only bonus we have ever got for being in the UK is Advent Children being released a day earlier than in America.

i have the ps2 version, but there is a directors cut on Xbox.
we got the nintendo wii here before anywhere else....BUT NO GAMES!
not many ninty magazines here either...sometimes i will buy an overpriced one from UK that mostly says how they have a lack of games...

I'll have a look out for the PS2 version then. Thanks!
There weren't too many games released here either when it first came out. Twilight Princess was probably the best one, Wii sports is fun though.
The magazines over here aren't too good. I stopped buying them a while back. I mostly use Gamespot and things for my gaming news now, even if it is all american.
