Hello
I posted here once before but never took the time to keep up with the website.
I am a mother of 2 children on the autism spectrum. I am an advocate for autism acceptance and am against "cures" and prenatal testing.
I do not really like to label my children but my daughter has been diagnosed with moderate/severe classic autism. She is about to turn 4 and has not yet said her first word. She is in early intervention (I am a big supporter of education for autistic children).
My son is about to turn 2 and is diagnosed with PDD-NOS (also nonverbal)
I am happy to have found a website that does not think I am crazy when I use the words celebrate and autism in the same sentence. My children are beautiful I would never change them.
