Hijack this thread. The keys are in it and the motor running. I'm curious to see where it might go.  Take it and run with it Tongue
And since I got a chance to ask... can anyone help me find a thread that was here some weeks ago mentioning a man who used to be a spokesman for curbies but has now seen the error of his ways and says he was wrong?  I think the thread mentioning him linked to an article with his story. I can't find it again.
Do you get the feeling there is getting to be a sort of... classist thing going on in the austistic community, much like any other community? Example, LFA vs HFA, or Officially Diagnosed vs Self Diagnosed?
I thought surely by now people would be talking about grammar, cheese and which areas they shave.  Ah well.

What is everyone's favorite things about being an Aspie!?!

I like being honest, reliable, organized, accurate, having a high level of attention to detail and a good knowledge of facts & figures about work or interests.  Most of all though, I treasure being logical. I feel sorry for some NTs who seem to be lost in a sea of emotions tossing them about. My sister's life seems to be constant drama.  ick

I like cheese.
The main thing I learned about the art of conversation (which isn't much) is that FOOD is always a popular and safe topic

I heard about a man, one "Mr. Andersen" who wrote an article in a magazine about how to create fictional worlds, a proccess called "world building" and often refered to as "playing god".
Someone wrote to the magazine.  Their letter went as follows:
"Dear Mr.  Andesen,
That is not how I do it.
Sincerely,
  God."

LOL, I think its called "Sims"

I have a computer.

I live by paper plates.  Being single now, I can  usually live with nothing but 1 cup, a knife and a spoon

DUDE!  I am exactly like that!  I'm all logical, organized, detailed, etc. and I also have a cup, a knife, a spoon... and a FORK, too.  And my paper plates are nothing more than pieces of newspaper and junk mail.  Way to go, Silky and her Spockiness.  Big Grin
