Please forgive my ignorance here, this is admittedly way out of my league. Hopefully someone can explain.
I appreciate experts trying to explain autism with all these environmental factors during pregnancy, but how then do they explain the genetic factor?
I have autism. My mother had autism. All of my children have autism to some degree.
If it was environmental the damage would have been done to me during fetal development and I suspect it would certainly not have created something that could be genetically based and passed on.
Doesn't the genetic link eleminate the possibility that it's environmental? Or does a 'change' in fetal development somehow bind with genetics?
Did that make any sense whatsoever???
