Yeah, I'm pretty Schizotypal.  Apparently there's some correlation between this personality type/disorder and Asperger's, the same goes for Schizoid.

Some thoughts:

My high "Schizoid" and "Avoidant" results come as no surprise.  In fact, I'd say they're blatantly obvious.

"Paranoid?"  Again, no surprise.  I know I'm more paranoid than I used to be, but I've also been given good reason to be.

The high "Schizotypal" results that so many of us are seeing may be misleading.  It's not uncommon for people on the autistic spectrum to be diagnosed as schizophrenic (though perhaps not as frequently now as in the past) simply due to atypical thought processes, not true schizophrenic/schizotypal tendencies.

Finally, there were a number of questions of the "other people say about me" sort.  These are dubious at best.  Unless you've got all your friends and acquaintances bugged, you can't know what say about you.  At best, you can only relate what other people say they say about you or, more likely, what other people say other people say about you.  As for me, nobody has ever confided that kind of information, so my answers were just guesswork.
Interesting...

My result were...

Paranoid: Low
Schizoid: High
Schizotypal: Very High
Antisocial: Low
Borderline: Moderate
Histrionic: Low
Narcissistic: Moderate
Avoidant: High
Dependent: Low
Obsessive-Compulsive: Moderate

We all seem to have similarly high scores of the Schizoid and Schizotypal areas--other areas show more variation.

Yes, I would say this is me.  And I'm ONLY autistic (no co-morid personality disorders - personality tested many times throughout the years), so that would make sense, then as to why I've been told that.

For instance, I'm not uncomfortable sociallly because I'm "anxious" at all.....it's simply because I have sensory integration disorders, and have trouble making small talk, etc., which makes it only uncomfortable.  I answered all the questions literally and completely truthfully.  And to me, being autistic has nothing to do with self-esteem or confidence, either.  My son is also autistic and he also has great self-esteem and confidence.

Well, good for you; all research I have done on Asperger's has shown that those with AS are more likely to have anxiety problems/disorders than those not on the spectrum; and there's about an 85% comorbidity of anxiety with AS.

It also has a lot to do with self-esteem and confidence, contrary to what you say.
