I love Japanese RPG's and single player action games like MGS and Resident Evil.

Personally I prefer the remake of MGS. The Twin Snakes on the GC, I've completed it on Extreme difficulty so I must be alright at it. The only downside is that it lacks the European Extreme difficulty.
My favourite game is Final Fantasy VII.

I don't use them as a way to release aggression though.
i'm a fan of RPGs, MMORPGs, FPS games, not a fan of heavy strat games, though..
I just recently got out my old Dreamcast and I've been playing Jet Grind Radio for the past few days. Definitely the most fun that I've had playing video games for a while.
I used to play Phantasy Star Online on my computer about a year ago; I liked being in parties, but there was just something about going solo that really appealed to me.

I have;

First Edition Total Annihilation, in the original box, manual and cases in perfect condition.
Freelancer in original cases, incl. manual and all paperwork
Civilisation for the Amiga, in original packaging.

The Amiga has quite a bit of a following, I imagine that one would actually be worth something...

On a related note, Stanley Kubrick (famous director) was known to collect obsolete personal computers... heheheh

I miss my Amiga. It took seventeen years to load each program, refused point blank ever to save any word-processing I did (which was the purpose for which we had bought it) but had the best OS I have used until we switched from PCs to MACs - and, for some reason, it was FRIENDLY. Rolleyes

We have a local independent shop called Thunderbox whose owner collects ancient hardware and software - including game and watch - and sells them! I've already bought an N64 and GBC from there, as we left ours behind when we came to Australia.

anyone currently play WoW (with Burning Crusade)?

Sonic Boom and White_Shadow_Ninja got burning crusade for Christmas, but the hard rive on the laptop they use for WoW is partitioned 50/50 mac/windows and there isn't enough memory left on the mac side to add the bc upgrade.

If you have any ideas how I can shift the split to 80/20 without having to empty the mac side (I don't mind about the windows - there is nothing worth keeping on it) I would be most grateful - and so would they!

Th primary reaon is that my husband's polar heart monitor that he uses for training only works in windows. We have some games that only work in windows, and we thought that the twins might have to run WoW in windows, but they got the Mac version.

Mac version of WoW?

Yes, the mac version of WoW and burning crusade.

There is only 1.59GB left on the Mac side, the windows side is practically empty.

29.96GB unused on the windows side. I used bootcamp to divide the hard drive 37GB each.

It's a shame my bro's at uni, Richard ;]

He still has a lot of old comps from his collecting days, he has been known to sell em for a profit ;p

a Toshiba MSX (early Microsoft operating system) from the 1980s (it's a bit frazzled, turns on ok..can't seem to play games)

an Acorn Electron (sort of a proto-BBC Micro) from the late 70s..
