That's pretty cool, but I wished there wasn't a hand putting the blocks on, it's distracting.
The Centre for Alternative Technology (http://www.cat.org.uk ) is selling a clock made from car parts, and two kinds of water-powered clock. Unfortunately they haven't put any pictures online.
The ancient greeks made advanced water based calendars (based its self on an Egyptian water clock), but I assume you are talking about a fuel cell powered clock.
A faux fur covered clock (apart from the face of course) would be pretty cool!
