As an aspergian, I must say, "every aspergian in this planet must start a new government and make a new world for ourselves."
Aspergians are not thieves, liars and kills so our world would not have crime and we would let each other each live in our own world.
I live in my own world and people try to grab me out of it all the time so this world of ours would be perfect.
The Aspergia thread got me thinking about this new theory about the aspergian world.
I think [i]Aspergia is our Utopia[i].
When you watch movies about highly futuristic humans, they all have aspergians characteristics.
But I have been struggling with another thought:
are we Aspergians better, worse or the same as the rest of the humans?
If we are better than the rest of the humans, then why is Asperger's a mental disorder?

The majority defines "mental health". They merely have to be in the majority.
I used this as an example because I played, and enjoyed, FFXI before I had to give it up because of Real Life.
I hate that game--the second one, not FFXI. It's a lot cheaper than most of them, but the cost for getting raised is so high I've never seen anybody actually do it. And the TRAVEL TIME? Getting anywhere at all pretty much takes forever. And don't get me started on the grinding. Everquest has nothing on the grind of Real Life, let me tell you.
Then take ay other game that has a class system. Killzone has soldiers, sniper, demo people. Same with any of the Medal of Honor series. Even Splinter Cell.
But the problem is that I can only afford to play Real Life right now. I'm just stuck there. It's ridiculous. To get up in the morning, I actually have to *physically get up*! And there's the "paying the bills" part of it, too.
So? Use your own example. I could care less though what you used, if it has a class system it supports my point.
If you have a problem with me personaly, take it to PMs.

I never came across anyone who defended Real Life so vehemently. Your tastes certainly are different from mine. I positively LOATHE the class system it has--Lower, Middle, Upper, with the new "Underclass" and "Super Rich" add-ons. Nearly all the time, you are born into your class and get no choice about it. I also hate the "one character per player" limit. Now, some people claim they've found a "reincarnation" workaround, but I can't seem to figure out how it works.
What game are you talking about? FFXI does not have a class system like that. Thereis no one character per player limit, max I recall is 12. It sounds like you NEVER played this game.
Seriously, stop presuming like this. And show me where I defend real life so 'vehemently'.

I've been talking about Real Life, as I very plainly stated from the start, and you got quite upset at me for daring to dislike so many of its play features.
Now, are you sure that I have been the one "presuming" and not I?
You can make it clear to those who read what you think you were tlaking about real life. That'd help.
I did, from the beginning:
I hate that game--the second one, not FFXI.... Everquest has nothing on the grind of Real Life, let me tell you.

Maybe I missed that last part in the context it was given. You went from talking about hating the 2nd one, not FFXI. Then you say everquest, then finaly you mention real life.
Your joke was aparently a bad one as far as I see it. I will wager anyone else who reads this thread will agree with me your 'joke' is the same.
Almost lost track? I read the whole lot in amazement. Something to do with computer games? What does that have to do with a wanton daydream about a utopian ideal of Aspergic society?
I don't know but I got Dog Brain's "joke" fairly quickly and agree in particular that there is too much of a grind involved in real life. It wears people down until they are just shadows of their former selves.
Hey! Tenaciouscj has a shoulder-kitty! Is that in an expansion pack?

Uh, what's a shoulder-kitty?
Mikegeo I think you Shamshir and Timelord should all go to a tea party together
