My all important webmail which I cannot, repeat, cannot afford to lose....
well I've forgotten the password.
I just changed it, and I've forgotten it. None of the variations I've tried seem to work. I suspect I used the wrong keystrokes when typing.
ive been using this forever, so I've forgotten my password recovery details too.
Is there any way at all to salvage the situation????
Any ideas besides "get a new email" (hell i have plenty)
Might keyloggers work?
I'm afraid they'll inject a whole lotta spyware and stuff though..

Assuming you put in your real contact info when you signed up, best bet is to contact the human administrators of the web mail (is there a support email address or link for the website?) and tell them the situation. You can always fax them ID if you need to prove who you are to get them to reset the password.

that doesn't sound good. they (in the automated email)say that

so i am really panicking right now. do you guys think is even worth calling them up to possibly recieve the same reply? dont know what to do!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you keep talking to them, STAY NICE, beg and beg and beg.... you may need to CALL them on the phone... there's probably a chance that they MIGHT help you. You will have to be soooooooo humble and nice and apologetic! Don't slip up and say something mean out of frustration! Keep trying! Don't be annoying, but be persistent.
Your only other alternative is to keep trying to guess your password. Try doing it with the Caps Lock key on.
