It's nearly 11 pm right now and I probably sound like some kinda schiztophrenic (sp?), but it appears one of my favourite childhood places, along with several places and companies throughout the world, are owned by this man.
His full name is Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and he is the ruler of a country near Saudi Arabia called Dubai (link to this country on Google Maps:

He owns this massive company called Dubai Holding, which owns the following sub-companies:
Dubai Media City
Dubai Studio City
Dubai Internet City
Dubai Knowledge Village
Dubai Energy
Dubai Industrial City
Dubai Healthcare City
Dubai Properties
Dubai International Capital
Dubai Investment Group
Dubai Outsource Zone
Dubailand
Dubiotech
eHosting
Empower
International Media Production Zone
Jumeirah Group
Sama Dubai
Samacom
And they own huge shares in the following companies:
DaimlerChrysler (2%)
Madame Tussaud (100%)
Dubai Bank (70%)
Emirates Tower Hotel & Offices (75%)
Sunbelt rental apartments (21,000 apartments)

Good for him! we need more entrepreneurs like that :]
(and Dragon, not all people from that part of the world are evil

)
Is that bad or something? I don't know anything about Dubai.
Dubai is the city where the Autfinity project is supposed to buy an aspie "island".
Dubai seams like an amazing place, my mate used to live there, everything was made out of gold, kinda...
They're building the worlds tallest building there, well the last I heard about it was that it was going to be something like 160 stories high.
I'm not sure if dragon is upset or not. I don't know any islamic people but my friends are hindu they're the nicest if not a little crazy.
I wonder if he could lend me a few quid?
And Madame Tussauds own loads of things like Alton Towers. I'm sure they have legoland, Chessington, Thorpe Park, all the waxworks and if I remember correctly they also have Blackpool Tower. There probably will be much more as well.

Dubai is not a country, if by that you mean a sovereign state. It is part of the United Arab Emirates. Judging by their human rights record, not a good place for Aspergia:

Talk about building your house on sand!
Dubai is doomed by global warming and rising sea levels.
The Burj Dubai, magnificent though it will be, will have its lower stories underwater and its foundations rotted.
Who would want to live in a greenhouse when the power fails as it will.
No wonder Mr Maktoum wants real estate in Alton Towers.
The arrogance of these planet abusers is not to be underestimated. Consider the energy Dubai is consuming whilst Yemen (perhaps the site of the original Garden of Eden and ancient in its civilisation) is one of the poorest countries on Earth
