I'm wondering if the infinity snake you are mentioning is ouroboros, the snake or dragon that consumes itself by eating it's own tail. Historically speaking this symbol is extremely cool as it represents something many spectrum individuals love - the cyclic pattern of life.
There are a couple of things to be wary of with this particular logo.
First: The show Millenium used the symbol and this show was related to the end of the world.
Second: Almost every theological institution in history, including christianity, has utilized a symbol like this. Much celtic knotwork and zen buddhists revolve around this symbol.
Third: This symbol has a connecting equation that creates a double moebius and should not be confused with infinity.
That said, I love this particular symbol and I believe that this symbol, the spiral, or the moebius strip would be excellent reflections of our community. I believe that because we are all individuals within a spectrum that there should be colors or symbolic reflections of how diverse we really are. Perhaps it might be fitting to place within our around a crest that reflects who we in a way that NT's will understand.
