Well, I'm sure this joke is in pure taste, especially to the amount of people that are borderline on this forum.
roflmao!!!
(ghetto edit) poor taste.
Well this has already been discussed in the Neurotypical Disorder thread.
I'm not a perfect man.

Some people even think i'm not a good man.

BUT I do speak common sense.
I'm the perfect evil man, mvahahaHAHAHahahAHhah!!
Fair bet the guy in my av is more evil than yours >.>
I agree that "on the border of NT/Aspie" is a really subjective catagory.  I often refer to myself as borderline AS because I have really good social skills for the most part, but otherwise fit AS well.  Then again, I am by no means able to function normally- Due to executive function issues I rarely shower more than once a week, and eat about half the amount I should be eating, because I never remember to shower or eat.  Thusly, I don't really fit AS but I don't fit NT, either.

I understood the joke.  It made me smile.
Well I understand the damn joke.

I just don't like jokes that *** on people from a great height.

sickening, sickening aspies ;p
I didn't understand that it was curing NTs you were talking about at first and thought you were a curebie. So the joke wasn't that funny because of that.

Neurotypical Disorder article does however do that right away, and write that it is a parodi at the bottom of the page.
What we need, is for the curebies to find a cure, that is, find the genes responsible for HFA (preferably, IMPO), clone them into a nice little retrovirus, and bang! voila, everyone turns autistic Big Grin Big Grin Big Grin
I'd hate that ><
Joke continues.....

Well, as I think that it is a genetic difference, I believe that we should perhaps just out-breed them. Wink
Well find me a whole load of hot autie chicks, and I'l get right to it Big Grin
I've had another idea.....

Compulsory assessment for ASD might actually confirm what I suspect, namely that there are many more of us on the spectrum than those who have had a diagnosis, especially females.

Suppose the statistics are wrong (I know, unlikely, but just imagine......Rolleyes) and we are not outnumbered thirty to one, but are equal. That means that an awful lot of us women have been misdiagnosed with NT disorder by default. After all, when those of us over forty were growing up, 'shyness' and quiet, withdrawn, behaviour were seen as normal, even desirable, traits in girls. In many cultures this is still the case.

Perhaps we aren't in such a minority as the statistics would have us believe.

Oh, and I've five kids and two grandkids, and I quite enjoyed the process of breeding!Wink
