I had the pattern for the record breaking paper airplane and made it, it was fantastic, try it out if you can find the pattern.
I'll try to find it as i'm very curious for it.
hahah.. ive heard so many of these reverse case things.. at our new medical school - an aborigine who got less marks than a caucasian (white) guy was accepted into the course because.. wel he was black!1 there was a big stink bout this im not sure what happened.
also there are scholarships for women only, jobs taht have to go to female aborigines and all kinds of stuff like this... at tafe we were making a joke bout these jobs that need a minority person wanted.. we joked taht you have to be a black woman who hasnt had a good education etc etc etc.
its quite silly and absurd.. however if there was a job going that tailored to an atypical autism/schizophrenic white female whose mind is quick going - wellILL TAKE it lol ... :?
ya, my uni friend reckons that i am 'mechanically minded'.. well i damn well should be if i did half of a mechanical engineering course!1 like other pple here, well even tho i am female, i love to pull stuff apart by myself and not be shown, i do my own car services, i can use a soldering iron too btw teehee all that kind of stuff. does this mean my brain is male too.. ive always wondered this lol
Reverse discrimination really can't exist. There is only discrimination.
Discrimination: unfair treatment based on racial, sexual, etc. prejudice.
As for a company only wanting to hire aspies, personality profiling is done at most job interviews. When you are told "We just want to get to know what kind of person you are. You want to hire someone to fit in." If I am best qualified by having the education, skills and experience for the job, I should get it. Some personnel people refuse to believe that if someone gets the job, they will fit in. They wouldn't dare say such nonsense to someone with a physical disability (I hate the word disability). It is often called "subtle prejudice" in terms of racism. Yes, people do have different learning styles and communication styles but that should not be a factor in selecting someone for a job. Some people select candidates for a job by checking to see if their cv is on expensive paper or by their address. Isn't that silly?
People should not be discriminated because they are aspie or nt for any job. All this prejudice is just morally wrong and it should be illegal.

Funny thing is, I thought much of the idea of hiring people was so they could come in and do the job.???
I agree with M. There is no such thing as "reverse discrimination."
-isms are -isms no matter which direction you face it from.
Regretfully, in my experience, I had to interview 36 places before I found the right one.
I hate to suggest that less than five percent of companies have enlightened HR departments, but it does make sense, in my experience.
Enlightened companies exist, in the midst of so many unenlightened companies.
Triple A (AAA), I think, helped people of color find enlightened places of lodging before civil rights legislation forced all businesses to accept every color.
Do we need an AAA? Asperger Acceptance Association for employers?

Yes!
