score of 15. 15?! I just knew I would do alot better than that, but I get 15 instead. 'sigh' Hmm, V shapes in the forehead. Some guy shared with me a picture of himself, and he had two different kinds of V shapes on his well sized forehead. I thought that was very fascinating. One V went upside down, and the other was an up V.

One V above the other one. I can't remember which one was ontop. I have no idea what they stand fore either, because I havn't seen anyone with that forehead pattern. It's a unique set of head lines, to say the least.

I didn't think a 'V' shape meant so much. I always used to put a 'V' shape onto drawings I made or on peoples faces if I was scribbling over pictures as it made them look evil.

In my experience the V shape implies a sort of strong piercing focus, but it depends what it is combined with to dictate the type of focus (inqusition - ha, nobody expects... etc. etc. - or anger etc.).

I think squinty eyes are sad.

Squinty eyes are sad when the bottom eyelid is convex (rounded upwards, when the sides are more squinted than the middle it's more suspicion or piercing/inquisitive).

I scored 90% on the famous faces test. The only one I didn't recognize was Patrick Stewart (Capt. Picard from Star Trek) Smile

I almost didn't get him, shame on me he's a local lad and the patron or whatever of our local Uni!

Although I do have problems with eye contact and I have the neutral/miserable looking face I don't have any problems reading others' expressions

Not all Aspies are the same, not all autistics even avoid eye contact for example.

Also, far from being close to animals, I have animal phobias.

SInce when has that been a criterium for diagnosis?

My analytical abilities are so developed at this point, that's probably why I scored 27 on the Mind in the Eyes test, I kept comparing/contrasting the words, and looking at the eyes, over and over until I got it right through process of elimination.

If I had to do the test quickly, or at a normal rate, I would have done horribly.  But I took my time to get it right, so I "caught up."

I'd be interested in how you do in the faces tests I linked earlier - no analysis allowed for there...

About those SBC tests - I find them very unsuitable for people on the autistic spectrum. They do not take literal interpretation into account, and are a pain in the backside for people who have difficulty "putting themselves into another's shoes" (because a lot of those questions relate to hypothetical situations). They also do not take interests and how strongly they can influence how much data you absorb about other things into account.

For example when I filled in the SQ test the first time, I had just moved house and was very preoccupied with technical details of washing machines and other gadgets and household implements as well as user manuals, whereas now I couldn't give a fig about any of them and am more interested in transport systems etc.
PS: Scores today:
EQ: 15
SQ: 36
AQ: 42
Original Scores at the ARC Tests:

EQ: 7
SQ: 90
AQ: 45

I suspect they were scored differently though as the averages quoted differ from those on the site linked here. For example the normal value for the SQ for women is given as 54 in the ARC questionnaires, and the highest value is 160.

The scores above are for the Simon Baron Cohen tests, not the ones Noetic is talking about. Where can I find the other ones?
