Hi Batman and all, thanks for the info; I got 31 points, and took it out of curiosity (and I have to say that this is the first time in my life that I participate in a blog). Reason being that my 8 year old son has is an Aspie, and because our bond is so intense, and we understand each other so well, I had the sudden suspicion that I'm an Aspie too. And after several weeks of introspection, reading my writings an other stuff, I can only conclude that, which actually makes me very happy. Regards and thank you all! MB

If you folks have the time, could you list what you scored on the Baron-Cohen test "Mind in the Eyes"?

I would also like you to list age/gender unless it is in your profile.  I am especially interested in age to see if the adult Aspies have a "normal" score, as analytical ability tends correct developmental deficiencies over time... or so it has for me.  I am the most analytical person I know, that may be why I scored so high on this test.

I got a 21, which is lower than I thought I should get--I usually do ok with faces, though I group them into 2 categories:

Group 1 is faces that are generally good and happy and need no help

Group 2 is faces that are bad and grumpy and require inquiry.

So, I can tell you a "good" face from a "bad" face, but I usually think bad faces mean people are mad at me, when I ask I find out they're bored/tired/distracted/stressed out, etc.  I think "good" and "bad" gets me by most of the time, though--you just have to ask Smile

Age: 25
Sex: Female
I'm female, 28, and I scored a 23.
Really didn't like it, though.  I hate making eye contact, even though they're just pictures.
