This story takes place in my home town (Sarasota, Florida)

This story starts out with Rika, sitting in her apartment, reflecting on an event that killed one of her non-digidestined friends and almost took her life. Just when she walks to her Black Ford Mustang GT, a Nissan Skyline (the shooter's car that fateful night) skids into the parking lot of the apartment complex, bullets flying. Rika gets out untouched. She tries to convince Takato to join her bid for revenge, but he's a bit unsure. Then the same Skyline spews bullets at Takato, missing him. That's when Takato decides to Join Rika in her mission. The craziest event to happen yet happened after a party at Yolei's house where Henry was ran over (he lived, though) & Sora was shot (DOA at hospital). That's the stuff up to this point. interesting, interesting i await this story to unfold...
You're right. I hardly know any Digimon at all. But it's an interesting / intriguing beginning. (Got me asking questions which is what a story beginning is supposed to do, after all.)
Recently, Dawn (who is the new female antagonist on Pokemon) drove to a part of town called the Strathmore Villas. Here, her car is sabotaged when a sharp kitchen knife slices her Porsche's left-front tire. Then after Dawn gets out, the wanted killer gets out and starts to demand information from Dawn while pinning her up against her car. Then I drive toward the scene along with Kari (Digimon Season 2) and convince the killer (whose name is Dee) to let Dawn go. Dee does, but threatens the cops. Secretly, I radio for backup as I'm pulling away. Unfortunately, the cop who decided to respond didn't come out alive. He died when his car was sabotaged and rammed into a steel guardrail. Rika decides to go investigate the scene of all the happenings, but she finds way more than she'd care to remember. The villas are actually an autistic prison community that has been investigated numerous times by many sects of law enforcement. Then Dee's dreaded Gray Nissan Skyline shows up.
