Recent thoughts: The name needs to be short and easy; giving immediate associations to who/what we are and what the publication is about. I've to admit that my name ideas seems a bit to off.

My take on what a prism is: A light-breaking body; that's what the dictionary said when I asked it some odd years ago.

(what is "aut brut"?)
It's probably a play on "art brut", or outsider art, which was originally a term used for the artwork created by patients in insane asylums, but has since become a more general term for artwork created by people on the fringes of society, with little or no professional training.
I think it's been dropped out of consideration as a potential magazine name, but I quite like it.

I just saw that "spectrum" looks eerily familiar to the word "speculum" (an instrument used to look into body cavities), and "prism" sounds a lot like "prison".
New Waves (good for those that have trouble pronouncing the letter "r").

I too, like the subtext Art-Autism-Life (or Autism-Art-Life as luai_lashire wrote it; not Digimodify). Or why not call it <tba>, to be announced? And a subtext (I thought it was called subtitle) Autism-Life-Art (yet another version).

And mistakes I make. Managed to forget that aut-o-matters was below all the time. With that it makes 32.

I like "New Waves" and "Paper Prisms". (or "fellowfaces")
(I'd stay away from "Beautiful Minds" -- while there is no copyright on titles, it is uncomfortably close to the movie.)

See post # 43, luai! About its likeness to the music-business-term New Wave; that's ages ago... Lydia Lunch, among others, started a counter culture calling it No Wave.
"New Waves" is my choice.

I'm for "Prizmatik". One could put this word onto a rainbow-infinity symbol.
Who's editing the thing? I'm pretty good with grammar & could contribute.
