POD
Newsboys

You're right! I have had a lot on my mind lately with my studies. Sorry everyone.
System of a Down! D:<
And Disturbed. Disturbed is good too.
After this weirdness, you should feel safe in admitting whatever it is you like, Sean.
OK. Let's see the reaction to this:
For the last 15 years I have been obsessed with GG Allin.
One og my great triumjphs is when I actually managed to weird out his brother (or so those I was with seemd to think) at a murder junkies show. Yuppy looking nerd 5 feet from the stage screaiming along that knows all the lyrics, with this intense serious look of hate in my eyes... LOL. Merle seemed to recoil when I made eye contact with him.
GG Allin. One sick man. Check out his appearance on Geraldo Riveria from the early 1990's. I think it's on Youtube somewhere.
Black Flag - Earlier stuff (pre-henry, although Damaged is good). I like the stuff after Henry took over vocals, but at that point they became a completely different band. ALMOST saw them live once, but cops broke up the show before they went on. Gregg Ginn is almost DEFINTELY ASPIE in my opinion. He would make eye contact with no one, would turn away or walk away when anyone approached him, and would only speak with Henry. He looked as if he was desperately trying to block it all out. His side project band "GONE" was the first set that night, and when he played... Completely focused - totally unaware of his surroundings.
Black Flag were the best punk band ever. I never thought of Gregg Gin being Aspie though. I thought Henry Rollins could be an aspie because of his attitude towards other people, being unsocial, not having much of a social lifeetc. This was mainly when he was younger and full of rage. He seems to be less pissed off these days.
Favourite songs? Now that's a tough one. Here's some selected highlights:
Black Sabbath - Into The Void, Under The Sun, Children Of The Sea, The Mob Rules, Hole In The Sky, Black Sabbath, Lord Of This World, Symptom Of The Universe, Hand Of Doom, Letters From Earth and Heaven And Hell to name a few.
Judas Priest - Painkiller, Beyond The Realms Of Death, Tyrant, Genocide, The Sentinel, Exciter, One SHot At Glory, Screaming For Venegeance, Freewheel Burning, All Guns Blazing, Stained Class etc.
Megadeth - Take No Prisoners, Ashes In Your Mouth, Sleepwalker, Kick The Chair, Devil's Island, Reckoning Day, Set The World Afire, Blackmail The Universe, The Disintegrators, She-Wolf, Tornado Of Souls, Rust In Peace...Polaris etc
Slayer - Chemical Warfare, Raining Blood, Hell Awaits, Ghosts Of War, Black Magic, Hallowed Point, Spirit In Black, At Dawn They Sleep, Consfearacy, Dittohead, South Of Heaven, Jesus Saves, Evil Has No Boundaries etc.

I used to love Black Flag. I met Henry Rollins once, briefly. He smiled a lot and was very polite, not the Rollins I expected. He didn't strike me as the aspie type.
I guess it was more teenage angst than aspie tendencies ol' Hank displayed back then. He seems to be a cool guy. Have you ever heard any of his spoken word shows? They're hilarious. Saw him in London last year and he was great. I recommend you pick up Talk Is Cheap Vol.1. Almost died laughing when I first heard it!

Yeah, I caught one of his spoken word tours. It was very entertaining. Have you read any of his books? I don't normally go for autobiographical stuff so I haven't picked any of them up yet, but I have been meaning to since he is so funny.
Yes, I've read some of them. Most of his books are composed of journal entries Henry has written over the years. I recommend you read Smile You're Travelling, Do I Come Here Often? and Black Coffee Blues.
Autopsy, Nocturnus, Cannibal Corpse, Burzum, Darkthrone, Satyricon, Nattvidens Grat, Bathory, Black Candle, Death, Kreator, Septic Flesh, Napalm Death, Godflesh, Cadaver, Impetigo, Deicide, Skeptism .... it's an endless list ....
Then: Vangelis, JM Jarre, Pet Shop Boys, Human League, Kraftwork, Vince Dicola .... and many many more
Then: Pink Floyd (1967-1972 only), Alice Cooper (1969-1974 only), Black Sabbath (1970-1979 only), Foreigner (1974-1979 only) ..... and what else ......... ! ! ! ! !

HA! You beautiful mentalcase! I knew you had it in you! I just hope you didn't touch him.... you might need a course of antibiotics.
He's referring to his brother Merle from the Cheater Slicks/Murder Junkies, Merle should be quite safe. GG on the other hand put out some really decent if somewhat explicit music up until about 1984-85 when his band was the Scumfucs.
I met the guy in 1986 when he was doing shows solo with the taped backup band. A now deceased freind was the drummer in the band that was supposed to back him for his 1988 US Tour that died after they blew their chances with Morton Downey Jr.
I didn't like his material/persona change after he boasted he would commit suicide on stage, and after he was released from prison, though he did manage to perform an entire set w/o fighting or performing bodily functions onstage for his brother's wedding reception.
As far as metal/punk favorites, for metal I've been listening to:
Sunn 0)))
Boris
Celtic Frost
Bathory (80's era)
Exodus
Slayer
Iowaska
Amebix
Zeni Geva
SWANS
For Punk, lately it's been:
Discharge (Hear Nothing, See Nothing...)
CRASS
Feederz
Boredoms
The Stooges
Velvet Underground
The Minutemen
Melt Banana
Jello Biafra/Melvins
PS, For the record, GG died offstage in 1993
