This site is against many types of treatments, many treatment don't work and is often brutal and not in favor of the autistic.
um...many Aspies are actually auditory thinkers. So even if this isn't quackery, it won't work for them.
(For those who don't want to visit the website, they claim that they're about helping people who are just strong visual thinkers but are misdiagnosed as Autistic or ADD.)
What does brain-engineering do anyway? I can't get much information from this site except that they give consultation, and that Dr. Florence's son seem less autistic than me.
I'm a visual learner so I presume i'm a visual thinker too ;p
Symptom free?
Is this an exaggeration or a sign of that they are lieing?
Did they pump out brain cells to give them main-stream intelligence?
It could seem this is a way to train parents to raise some seamingly autistic persons with signs of "intelligence", wathever they meant by that, so that they become "symptom free". In the videos they mentioned therapies aswell, looked like simple IQ tests which I don't see the context of.
