Depends on the situation. If I'm near a smoker, I am capable of sneezing really loudly. Otherwise, not so loudly. Some kinds of cigarette smoke aggravate my sinuses.

I sneeze very loud and I count them. I usually sneeze four times, sometimes three, rarely five. No need to subdue the sneezing, just direct them a bit.

People say I sneeze like a mouse.

That's strange to hear because I've always sneezed very loudly also.

Unsure to be honest, should check that, lol

I have a special knack of sneezing silently. It's too difficult to explain how I do it, but I've been able to do it since I was about 10 years old. I only sneeze silently if I'm in public, but if I'm on my own, or just with my family, I sneeze very loudly.
At home I sneeze loudly enough for the whole house to hear!

Loud. I don't believe in holding in sneezes and besides, if you try to it can actually damage the muscles in your neck. Not sorry when I sneeze either (unless something actually comes out, which it hardly ever does.)

I sneeze rather loud. One of my cats even runs for cover as I inhale before I sneeze.
Hehe. I could just imagine that!!

I used to know someone who actually squeaked as she sneezed. (Sounded very much like a mouse.) It was funny to listen.

I did actually sneeze not long after replying to this thread initially, it seems slightly louder than my voice, sometimes even the same level
should try with a sound meter for more accurate measurements, lol

Interesting thread - sneeze gristle. Molly, the cat, was in for a bit and I thought that I should play around a little but she didn't like the sound of my home made didjeridoo so I stopped making noise...
I have sneezed a few times since my previous post. 1 sneeze is good. 2 is better. 3 is great. 4 is greater. 5 is high; High Five or hay fever. When you use a hand kerchief to blow your nose with. Do you look in it afterwords to see what came out of you?

Some interesting facts about sneezing:
1. Whenever you sneeze, your heart stops for a millisecond. (It's the closest you come to death in the course of your normal waking life)
2. If you hold in a sneeze, you can rupture the muscles in your neck and die.
3. The air of a sneeze travels at 60km per hour (about as fast as the speed limit of some towns - or a little faster.)
4. You can stop a sneeze before it begins by pressing your tongue hard up against the roof of your mouth.

2. I thought you'd break blood vessels or something. I went out three times today to post a letter and the second time I needed to blow my nose but I had forgot the hand kerchief so I blocked my right nostril with a finger and blew hard. On a hot day the best way to cool down is to press something cold against the arteries in the back of your neck.

I like to make myself sneeze by sticking things up my nose. Infact I do it so much it could be classed as a stim.

Aye, you could probably do that too.

It just feels good to sneeze for some reason.
Probably the release of pent up energy. Anything feels like a relief that gets rid of stuff that shouldn't be there. (Like crying, pooing, peeing, blowing your nose, sneezing)
